Aggie’s traditional potica is 1.75 lbs and serves 8 people with 1″ thick slices. The dimensions of the loaf are 8.5″ long x 4.5″ wide x 4″ tall.

Aggie’s delicious potica is made from scratch using a traditional Slovenian recipe, passed down through the years from the ethnic Milwaukee bakeries.  Potica, a traditional nut bread, is typically served at Easter and Christmas in Slovenia and still very popular in some parts of the United States with strong ethnic backgrounds, like Milwauke. Potica is a yeast dough rolled and stretched paper-thin and spread with a mixture of ground walnuts, butter, eggs, cream, and sugar. Aggie’s potica is offered with (3) different fillings: raisin, almond or poppyseed and offered with (2) different toppings: icing and walnuts or plain. You can customize and order your potica using our website for either local delivery or pick-up from our beautiful bakery located in Downtown West Allis on Greenfield Ave and 73rd street.
